Antad Expo 2013 was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on 14th, 15th and 16th March 2013, with the participation of 1,200 companies from around the country (45,000 square meters, of exhibition floor space with over 2800 stands). With 35,000 registered visitors, including self-service, department and specialty stores, generating interaction in the sector in order to extend or strengthen business relations. Grupo OM México. CATMAN Latin Forum 2013.

The most important event in Latin America on Category Management took place in Mexico City on 12th and 13th November last year, and was attended by the globally renowned father of Category Management, Dr. Brian Harris. It was an enriching experience as it was attended by 10 outstanding exhibitors who each spoke of cases of successful implementation of category management. Good category management planning must undoubtedly go hand-in-hand with excellent implementation throughout the process, and the aspect which interests us as a company is visual communication and merchandising at the point of sale in order to transmit and reinforce the huge efforts put into strategic planning; the end consumer is not aware of this, but it forms part of the consumer buying experience, and it is this experience –pleasant or unpleasant– which can result in our products making the difference in the implementation of the category management plan and process.
